Delhi: The third edition of the Women’s Premier League 2025 will start from February 14 in Baroda. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule of WPL. For the first time this league will be organized in four cities. These include Baroda, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Lucknow.
22 matches will be played
A total of 22 matches will be played in WPL 2025, in which five teams will participate. All the teams will play two matches against each other, due to which each team will play a total of eight matches. 20 matches of the league stage will be played from 14 February to 11 March. An important change this time will be that double headers (two matches) will not be played on any day, that is, there will be only one match every day.
The first match will be played in Baroda
The first match will be played between Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the new BCA Stadium in Baroda. This tournament will be organized for the first time in Baroda and Lucknow, while the tournament will be organized again in Mumbai. The last WPL was held in Bangalore and New Delhi.

Eight matches will be played in Bengaluru
The final match will be held on March 15 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. BCCI also informed that RCB’s first home match will be against Mumbai Indians on February 21 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Four matches will be played in Lucknow, final in Mumbai
Four home matches of UP Warriors will be played in Lucknow from March 3. The final phase of the tournament will be held in Mumbai, where two league matches and two playoff matches (Eliminator on March 13 and final) will be held at CCI Stadium.
A match will be played every day
During the tournament, the team finishing first in the table will directly reach the finals, while the teams finishing second and third will compete in the eliminator match. Adopting the format of last season, this time too there will be only one match every day.

Live streaming of Women’s Premier League 2025 matches will be on Jio Cinema. WPL 2025 matches will be telecast live on Sports18 and Sports18 HD TV channels in India. All matches will be played from 7:30 pm Indian time.
